Alarm keypad hard to use when the weather gets cold

Over the last two winters the alarm pad on the first floor gets hard to arm and disarm when the weather gets below 30°f. I’ve taken the pad apart and cleaned the contacts, it all really looks brand new inside (although system is 15 years old).

Finding a replacement seems difficult given the exact part isn’t made anymore. Not sure how hard it is to replace a pad or if moving the other one we have would work as an option. Would they need to be reprogrammed if I just swapped them?
